How To Apply Articles

To use Articles, you simply remove the top sheet to expose the sticky back of the transfer. You can then position the transfer where desired and rub the back of the carrier sheet. The carrier sheet is then peeled off, leaving the durable transfer behind.

Each Article transfer is sandwiched between two sheets of protective paper using our exclusive transfer technology.

The transfer itself consists of an thin layer of paint and a thin adhesive layer. There is no substrate to make the transfer look thick and bulky like vinyl stick-on products.

A hand painted look

Articles are the only "paint-only" transfers which look and feel as if they were painted by hand. Once applied, it is difficult to feel the edge of an Article transfer. Unlike wall paper or printed vinyl, these rub-on transfers don't have ugly halos found with some transfer products. We think you'll find Articles amazing too!

Flexible

Because they are so thin, Articles can be bent around corners or applied to smooth or lightly textured surfaces.

Durable

Articles will last for years. They are very UV resistant and will not curl or role up over time. In fact, the longer you have them, the more strongly they will adhere to your wall or other surface.

Washable

Articles can be washed repeatedly with nonabrasive cleaners, including those cleaners containing chlorine. Abrasive cleaners will eventually wear Articles away because they are so thin.

Paintable

Because they are so thin, Articles can also be painted over when you want to change your decor. Alternately, they could be easily sanded off prior to painting if so desired.

Compatible with other products

Articles can be used with water-based products but are also compatible with many solvent-based products such as oil-based paints and glazes. Since the composition of the oil-based products is quite varied, we recommend that you pre-test these prior to starting a project.
