Frequently asked questions - Some quick answers for normal questions.

1) How Much do they cost?

Packages cost either $5.95US/Package for standard designs or $2.49US/Package for Christmas designs. Shipping in Canada and the USA is $1.50US for the first package and $0.75US for each additional package.

2) How long will Articles stay on?

Though Articles are very thin, they do not crack peel or fade. They will stay on until you remove them with a solvent or rub them off with an abrasive such as sandpaper.

3) Can I wash a decorated surface as usual?

Articles are resistant to most chemicals used in cleaning, so washing with detergents is not a problem. Most chlorine based products such as Tilex are also safe with Articles. However, since Articles are very thin it is recommended that a nonabrasive cleaner be used at all times.

4) Can I apply Articles to rough surfaces and corners?

The answer is yes. Articles are quite flexible and somewhat elastic so they bend around right angle corners and conform to rough surfaces well. If the surface has very sharp edges, like a heavily textured stucco wall, then application may be difficult. We have seen painted cinder blocks decorated with Articles.

5) Can I use Articles on furniture or floors?

Yes you can. Any Article used on a floor should be protected with a top coat of water-based polyurethane. Furniture which will receive constant wear should also be protected in this way. Always test non-water based products for compatibility prior to using them with Articles.

Can I use Articles in a faux finish?

Yes if you're using water-based products over top of the Articles then the base coat can be anything as long as it's dry. Since the solvents in oil based products (mineral spirits etc.) dissolve Articles they are not recommended as a glaze. Pre-testing is always recommended.

6) Do you make other designs?
